You are right. I have this issue here trying to continue the game progress. I can only continue my game progress on the Google Play version by log into Google Play.
But when I install the signed mod, I have to start from the beginning. So sad...

Did you install the signed mod over the GPS version? If not, try that.

Great work guys & gals, using GPS to sign into Google+ then install signed mod over it works and you don't lose your Google sign in randomly anymore, so no more reinstalling every day. Signed mod works as advertised and able to sign into Google+ with no issues, thanks again and keep up the great work!

Did you install the signed mod over the GPS version? If not, try that.

It works now. I copied the data folder and now it worked.
